Battle at Banwen

Well, what can I say? It was an absolute pleasure to watch the boys in their first proper friendly as district players. The boys are starting to gel now and we are starting to see different combinations working.

All 4 games were end-to-end and we thoroughly enjoyed watching them. We can’t believe that we’ve only been together for a couple of weeks. There is a of a lot of talent in the squad and us coaches just need to work out how to get the best out of the boys. We are really looking forward to working with them over the coming months.

We want to get as much contact time in as possible before Christmas and have decided to train Saturday morning with our final session on Monday before a long, well deserved break over Christmas.

Swansea Schoolboys are playing Bridgend Schoolboys up on Bonymaen’s pitch on Saturday at 10:30 am. We are all going up to watch and you are welcome to come and join us if you want to. We will play either Bridgend or Swansea if we get through to the second round of the DC Thomas cup and so it will be worth going to see them.

We will then head east to Graig y Coed for a training session at 1pm.

As usual can you please indicate if you are coming by visiting the website and clicking the ‘RSVP’ button. 👍

Enjoy your friday and we hope to see you in the weekend.
