East vs West Battle

ree

Well it was a tough challenge as expected and there were mixed emotions on the trip back down the M4 with our first win in the bag and a loss too.

Great news for the Blues team who managed to turn over the Pooler on their home turf; no easy task! Thanks to Adam Catley for helping us out in Andrew’s absence.

It just didn’t happen for us in the greens through. Despite us trying everything, nothing seemed to come off. We were all gutted at the end but at the same time, we are determined to put it right in training tomorrow.

It was great to see all the kids getting onto the coach at 8am and I have to say they were all impeccably behaved both on the way and on the way back. They really did their families proud.

Thanks to all you parents for making the trip to support us and the boys; it really means a lot to us.

There were a lot of boys that caused us selection headaches for the upcoming Cup game in a few weeks time and we will be working through these new combinations on Monday.

We have another away trip planned on Saturday and it doesn’t get any easier as we travel back down the M4 to Bridgend. However, this is why we play, to try and get better each game. This will be a good yardstick for us to see how we have improved since playing Bridgend at home just a few weeks ago.

Becky us uploaded the photos on the website so please have a look at all the action.

We will be arranging another coach on Saturday and hope that all the boys can travel together again on Saturday.

See you all at training tomorrow.
